I receive an error from WHMCS that says Invalid License
If you receive the above error when logging into the WHMCS admin area that says "Invalid License", it can be due to a couple of reasons:
- You have changed the installation in some way (moved to a new folder or IP address or domain name)
- You installed it on a IPv4 IP address and are trying to access the admin area from a IPv6 IP address or vice-versa.
If your installation has changed in some way, you can request that we "Reissue" the license for you. Simply submit a ticket and we can quickly do that for you.
Since we use a dual stack (IPv4/IPv6) environment, if you will be accessing from both IPv4 and IPv6 networks, we will need to add both the IPv4 IPv6 IP addresses of the server to the license to avoid the issue.
Simply submit a ticket stating the above and we will make the change for you.
