How do I restore a full account backup file from a remote host?
If you have obtained a cPanel or DirectAdmin full account backup file from a remote host that needs to be restored, you can do the following:
Shared Hosting
- Upload the full account backup file to your SimpleSonic home directory
- Submit a ticket to our support team requesting a restore of the backup file
Reseller Hosting
- Upload the full account backup file(s) to your SimpleSonic main reseller account home directory
- Do not create the account(s) to be restored as they will typically need to be terminated prior to restore anyway
- Submit a ticket to our support team requesting a restore of the backup file(s)
Once our support team receives your request, we will quickly restore the account backup(s) for you.
