I receive a 404 error when clicking links in WordPress

If you receive a 404 error when clicking links in WordPress, it is normally always due to broken permalinks.

Fixing permalinks is very simple to do by doing the following:

From your WordPress dashboard, go to 'Settings' >> 'Permalinks'

Click 'Save Changes'

Done!

Clicking links in WordPress should now take you to the appropriate page and you should no longer see any 404 errors.
